This product never worked, and all I did was throw money away to buy it, and waste even more money on batteries.I am so very disappointed.
Why aren't there more choices.I couldn't even find a taype player in the stores. I use this all the time, using talking and mucic cassets. Not a good one any way.
Price was right, headphones are comfortable and the old tapes sound terrific. Having a blast listening to the old favorites again. Just bought it so not sure of battery life or product durability, but hope it lasts a very long time. While also using an MP3 player and CD's, there are loads of tapes on the shelf that will probably never get converted to another format, so looked for a cassette walkman. Wasn't even sure they still made them, and was glad to find this on line. Didn't buy it for the radio so can't comment on overall reception quality, though was pleasantly surprised at the reception on a couple of channels I did try.
When you're outside working, it's inconvenient to have to take the case off to manually flip the cassette tape to side B.Presetting the radio stations is laborious. This walkman works fine, but I really miss the auto-reverse tape feature that was available with previous walkmans. Why so complicated.
I am an Amazon fan. On Amazon I immediately found the exact model I wanted at a reasonable price and it was shipped overnight. Amazon service great - fast, reliable and wide range of products. I wanted to replace a Sony Walkman that I use daily and had been unable to find the one I wanted in local stores. How can you beat that.
